Is it too early to decorate for Christmas?  I know that Thanksgiving is next week but I have the great urge to start decorating for Christmas if you didn't know Christmas is my favorite holiday!  It's not about presents but about the atmosphere and being around family, Christmas music, food, games and memories.  I have such fond memories of childhood Christmas' when the entire family would get together.  I tell you those were the days now it seems Christmas is so commercialized but I hope for the sake of my daughter and the true meaning of Christmas that we are creating some great Christmas memories for her.

It such a beautiful day in Arizona the temp is around the mid 80's and the evening get down to the high 40's-50's which is fantastic.  The Princess and I find ourselves outside just goofing around right now she has decided to take  my camera outside to the backyard and take random pictures.  It's funny how much she and I are a like in that area.  I will be sure to post the pictures she takes.

I thought I would share a project I did last week.  This was my first attempt of refinishing and painting a piece of furniture and I think it turned out rather well.    

The Princess and I have managed to get some art projects done today as well. We are lucky to be able to do what we do and spend time together.

Well, it looks like Thanksgiving will be here soon and as far as I know we will be spending Thanksgiving with my Sister and her in-laws I can't wait.   It will be really nice to get of town for a  few days.  I was talking to my Dad tonight about spending Christmas up in Payson I'll have to find out if that will work with DH work schedule.  Keep your fingers crossed I'd like to have a white Christmas.

Oh and speaking of Christmas I have finished all shopping and making of Christmas presents. As a matter of fact I mailed a few boxes today to the in-laws and two more boxes tomorrow.  And all I have left is my sister and BIL but if we spend Thanksgiving with them then I'll just take their present with us.   I should correct myself by saying not all Christmas shopping is done. DH and I decided to buy the princess a bike for Christmas so we still have that to purchase along with the helmet.  Now I plan on saving up to buy myself a bike so we can go bike riding together around the neighborhood and over at the park across the street.  It will be so much fun.

Woke up feeling fantastic!  Let's see what's on the agenda today? I finally have a couple of bookcases and tables in the studio so now I can empty some more studio boxes. Need to sweep all the tile and mop, also heading to a vendor faire today and then finally to my parents house. They have been having some work done on their car for the past week so I need to run some errands for them.  So it will be a busy day.

Well, Halloween is behind us and it's time to share our Halloween pictures.  Our princess went as Dorothy from the Wizard of Oz and she was adorable.  Princess and DH went trick or treating and the Queen stayed home to pass out candy to all the kids and let me tell you there were a lot of kids this year and yet we still had candy left over!

Our princess scored big on Halloween candy had to finally put it in our community jar and still have half of her bag still full.  We also spent Halloween evening over at our new neighbors house Tom and Michelle.  They have the two most adorable twins one of each, how lucky are they.  Needless to say that the Queen (who always has her camera in her purse) left her camera at home.  So hopefully when pay a visit to our neighbors tomorrow they will share some of the photos they took.  But for now enjoy the Princess!

I hope everyone went out and voted today I did via early ballot a couple of weeks ago.  I don't about you but this election really has me worried we seem to be stuck between a rock and a hard place.  I just hope we come out of this election making the right decision.  

On a lighter note I finally found my cables to down load new photos; so here are few.  As you will see on one picture is princess in her room doing her homework on a desk that was made by her Great Grandfather on her father's side it was made from DH and now our daughter use's it.  I am dying to paint it white but I think I will hold out a bit longer.  There is also a picture of our furry son, Smokey.  Enjoy more tomorrow.
