While I was in California my sister and I went to Agoura Hills to go antique shopping and scored big time when we found not one but 4 antique stores side by side! I was in heaven although we only visited two of the four do to the fact that we had princess with us and that was about her limit. But I did want to share a few photos from our adventure in antique land and some of Thanksgiving.
Have a great day!

Oh my gosh, I'd have been in heaven! That ceramic dog is adorable!! I'm glad you liked my "wing chair throws" post - I'm actually doing my living room wing chair in an upcoming post. As to size, my motto is the bigger, the better. I'd much rather have extra material to 'tuck' than to have it too short and have the chair showing along the bottom. Just to give you an idea though, the winter chenille that was on the big wing chair in the family room was 96" wide (I find that most of them are about the same standard length). The summer throw with the ruffle on the bottom was also 96" wide, including the ruffle. I've also used spreads/throws as big as 118"x118" - that was a king size I believe. If I find one that I really love and it's a bit small, I use a king sized white dust ruffle as the 'base' to cover the chair completely, and then use the smaller throw over that. I hope that helps!!!... Donna @ An Enchanted Cottage
